Bozburun

Bozburun

Bozburun is a secluded seaside town opposite the Symi island of Greece, 50 km from Marmaris. The name of the town is derived from the surroundings of the gray mountains and the way the land points to the sea, like a nose. Bozburun has managed to maintain its quiet atmosphere and the locals continue with the tradition of fishing, sponge diving, beekeeping and boat building. In fact, the town is famous for building traditional Turkish gulets, many of which are used to sail on the Turkish peninsula. Bozburun has the best coastline in this region. The breeze attracts many yachtsmen and attracts divers who watch clear waters, sea sponges, corals and unspoiled views of marine life. These are motels, hostels and restaurants, all of a good standard. Therefore, Bozburun is an ideal place for those who want to get away from all of them.
